I'm in the Venice/Sarasota area with my FJ Cruiser, and am itching to hit some trails and do some offroading. Where is a good spot to go in my area? I noticed the FLCA based out of Bradenton(?) but their website isn't was it seems. (FLCA.org per some 4x4 resource site)

I'd love to meet up with some like minded folks and learn a thing or two about 4 wheelin' in Florida.

There are limited opportunities unless you want to play in the mud. There is Hard Rock in Ocala that is a legal place to wheel that has "some" climbs and off camber stuff.

2nd on hard rock its worth the drive for sure. although its a lil too hot for those of us with out a/c

I haven't been to hard rock yet. I live in Naples and plan to check out a spot here when I get the 40 back together. I had a few surprises after returning from GSMTR this year.
