I came across this vid. It's been a few years since I was on Pritchett and I keep hearing "it is really hard now" mostly from "buggies creating ruts" but didn't really think too hard about it. A couple years ago I did it in my wagon on 35's...

I was watch this vid. It was also a really wet spring and fall so I imagine its in much worse shape... Pretty much limited to big super heavy off road trucks now?

Since they blasted the entry everyone thinks its a cake walk. The entry used to be a nasty little drop in to give you an idea of what your getting yourself into. They get in there and tear up the trail cause their rigs are not built to run it. Lots of holes from spinning tires and such. The buggies i've seen there walk it easily, doing the trail in under 2 hours.
Last time i ran it there was even a winch anchor point on a hill that used to be a none issue, now its a nasty little hill that seems to double whammy a lot of rigs. Seen some major breakage in that one area, and its not even 1/2 way in !

Makes sense. In the vid there are some large wheeled buddies spinning in some deep ruts. These are the spots where it would be impossible for a truck on, 35's, for example, to get through.

Curious on opinions.... Not trying to blame it on anyone or "any one area." Mostly just want to run it again, I suppose.. But again on 35's ... :)

I bet you could do it, you'll just need to have no consideration for your rig. You'll likely have to put the condition of your rig last. I thought a little harder about it and it was 07 when I was there last. It sounds like it may have changed alot since then.

Ran it at CM '00. Back then our group had 35's -36's & the only hangup was the Rock Pile near the end of the trail. Good to hear it's been worn down & harder to traverse. That's a day long trail w/ a large group of medium built rigs. After the Rock Pile & at the very end of the trail heading out of the valley, it seems the area to the left looked kinda knarly.

was there about a month ago and one of my friends in a yj on leafs, stock wheelbase, arb's and 36's made it all the way, he had to bypass a few of the hard obstacles but he made it

and yeah, the two highest/scariest climbs that have no bypass for them have winch points set at the top

Cruise Moab this year we had an FZJ80 with us, 33" tires. we pulled cable maybe once on the rocker knocker bypass.

Gotta be one of the Top trails in moab! there are some bypasses, but alot of stuff where you cant just crawl it, you gotta use some momentum!
