No It did not... Was this something extra that I should have purchased? When I received it was missing the clamps which hold it secure to the rain gutter. Edit: I ad the third sentance because it wouldn't surprise me if it was missingI put about 4k miles on mine so far, havent heard any squeaks there is a minimal wind noise but thats to be expected from any rack. Did your rack not come with the ruber strip that goes along the rain gutters and the front wind deflector?
I just had a moment of clarity i do not own a prinsu rack. I bought a bowfin cruiser rack...i really should sleep more before posting. Anyway my bowfin rack came with the rubber strips in my pictures and i have zero squeaks, the racks being similar im sure the rubber would help the prinsu from squeaking and rubbing paint off the gutters etc.
Neither of my Prinsu racks for the 80 came with that, but neither squeaks. However, when I bought my Alu-Cab RTT, I had lots of squeaking and flexing related to it. Do you have any rubber isolating the tracks on your RTT from the cross bar? I’d try that and make sure all the connection points are tight. Also check the cross bars to make sure all are tight as well. With the tent up there, vibrations happen.
That actually helps! I contacted them about purchasing the rubber gasket material that they use!I just had a moment of clarity i do not own a prinsu rack. When you mounted your Alu-cab, what did you do about the lip where the cross-bars meet the side rails?
