Love a quick win to restore some sanity. Wonder if it’s original.

Well, I think I’ve exhausted my capabilities for now. Still have absolutely zero pedal with the car on.

•I’ve bled 1.5 liters including the LSPV total (another 0.5 this morning). There is almost no flow from the RF caliper. All others were clean bleeds with no visible bubbles.
•I was unable to get the RF pads out and I think that may be the culprit. It had more pad wear and seems to not be retracting. The pads didn’t look as bad as I recalled but it was dark. Would that cause no pedal though?
•both rotors are above 20mm (min is 19mm).
•I was unable to get the drum retaining screws off to pull the the drums. Ugh.

Probably going to pick up the Napa Total eclipse semi-loaded calipers later today.....or just tow it to @OTRAMM

any other thoughts @Stumpalama

Did you try spinning the rotors and drums while stepping on the brake pedal?
Just because you get fluid, doesn't mean the caliper pistons and drum cylinders are actuating.
The no pedal resistance thing has me confused. Air is usually the culprit.

Any other tricks to bleed it better? On an incline or something?

@NearJetties is there any chance that if a hard line running to the RF is crushed that it can cause the caliper issue? Even if, it probably would cause the pedal problem, I reckon.

I have six NAPA calipers on my junk. Zero issues. Money well spent versus rebuilding.

Shiny new calipers and fresh pads are on plus another bleed. No change....brake pedal feels like a clutch.

I either can’t bleed it correctly or there’s an issue I can‘t diagnose. Going to pick up a uhaul trailer tomorrow and get it to @OTRAMM (I know you’re booked up but I’m in no rush, can’t drive it regardless 😂)

Next parts to throw at it would be new Advics wheel cylinders and City Racer has a new LSPV available (unfortunately the only source otherwise I’d avoid after they’re recent saltiness with @1MOA). Would consider a switch to a manual Wilwood proportioning valve but my confidence in doing it myself isn’t exactly high at the moment

@JohnVee reinspected all the break lines and they look okay.

@NearJetties you really need to start at the master and ensure it is properly set up and bled. Then check the caliper pistons for operation.

s***e, I didn’t think about rebleeding the master. Going to get a dorman master bleeder kit tomorrow and enlist the wife so I can to the wheel spin test.

Focus on making sure the rod is properly measured and that you bless the shiite out of that master.
I have a power bleeder that is the clubs that you can borrow.

Decided to take the 40 out and drive it around town today. Beautiful weather. Gave it a good washing too. Also got to try out my new NOS keys from @ToyotaMatt . Nice to have real Toyota keys for the 40.

Finally got my own. And unlike my 4runner this one runs !
Needs tires, shocks and some cosmetic odds and ends. Making a list checking it twice

So as not to start yet another tire thread and get murdered, I am wondering which way to go. I like the looks of these but not sure if they’re a good all terrain tire. Don’t plan on doing anything beyond maybe fall crawl this year so keep that in mind:

After 19 years I remodeled our half bath. But I’m down the home stretch!

Just in time to move to a new house.

@Jakes40 I'll see your 1/2 bath and raise you the other half. Finally finished my 3 year 'visitor and overnight guest preventing' project last month. Pics are missing the articulating TV and the Rotator curtain rod. The down lights on either side of the vanity (not visible in pics), on a dimming motion sensor, are the bomb. The vanity floats off the wall and floor. I converted an unused wide door from elsewhere in the house into a sliding barn door for the narrower opening. It's hung now but I need to refinish it when we decide what we're gonna do about color once I tackle the old green hallway.

BTW, at our first house I tore out the tiny master bath to the studs about a year into owning it. Finished it up just in time for the real estate agent to take pics as we were moving out (my first 3-year project!). Needless to say I'm not allowed to do anything for our upcoming kitchen remodel except agree and write checks.

Starting to tire shop. Debating between some used but low mile KM2s (40x14.5-17) or new Patagonia Milestar MTs (40x13.5-17) The only reason I’m considering the KM2 is they come in a 14.5 inch width which I sort of like and thats what’s currently on the truck. I think they are from the end of the production run (around 2015). Thoughts?

Maxxis RAZR MT 40 x 13.50 x17 I should be able to get them to you for about $350-360 each. I would need to double check my pricing.
