I wish you the best of luck:beer:

Thanks, if anything the boss and I have become good friends over the years, I'm willing to fight it out till the end..:meh:

I just got back with the tank a couple of hours ago. Great company, had me loaded, helped strap down, and I was outta there in 30 minutes.

Our pump guys are showing up Monday morning. Anyone have any links on 6" flanged pressure relief or blow off valves that I can compare cost with before then?

Sorry, way late to the game on this one.
I'll be back in my office Wed and can get some prices for ya if you are still interested.

Thanks...
But our machine and pump guy has one on order. Curious to see what size he goes with. We are also waiting for a new ($2,200) back flow and both mercury switches which seemed to vanish when the thing blew.

Total cost: $23,553 and some change..

Put a pressure switch in line and connect it to a Klaxton. LOL....that'll raise some eyebrows.

Is that everything down line as well?

That seems like a great price.

Fortunately, everything downstream seemed to come through without any problems. I even went as far to push the issue with a 90psi test.
If you factor in the $6k savings on the used vs a new pressure tank, and the in house labor, guess we didn't do to bad.
Major plus out of the deal, several safety systems installed so this won't happen again.
