pre-fj summit trail running?

The plan is to go the FJ Summit (yes im already registered!). I am taking the week off work and debating leaving a couple days earlier to site see and kind of just do whatever. I was wondering if anybody has the same thought. Maybe meet up for some trails somewhere else. Maybe a good local bar? Any thoughts?

Last year I caught a group of Fj guys at Moab before summit. Have you seen any plans like that yet?
