Hey folks. New to the Toyota world, I've messed around plenty with TJ and JKU Wranglers, but I'm trying to be a grown up and got myself a V6 Prado 150 VX.

The Lexus GX I assume has a similar model with KDSS and Air Suspension in the rear?
I've noticed on the VX 150, there is VERY little uptravel on the rear axle before running into the bumpstops. This makes the ride really bad on rough surfaces obviously. The "TX" version, without KDSS or Air, runs much shorter bumpstops, like 90mm shorter.

I'm trying to confirm whether these long bumpstops in the VX are to ensure the vehicle is still semi-driveable, should the air suspension fail, or whether it's something to do with the KDSS. I heard a theory that they're there to prevent a rollover should the KDSS fail mid highspeed corner....But I think that's a stretch. I am leaning more towards the air suspension reason.
I understand the 200 also comes with KDSS, but normal coils. Does it also have super long bump stops in the rear?

I'm thinking about finding some TX bumpstops to install but wanna be smart about it. Eventually I'll swap to coils but for now I just wanna make the ride a bit better.

(I did search for any threads about rear issues in the GX but didn't find anything)
