Looking at a 100 in TX, closest city is Austin, looking for someplace for a PPI any recommendation or comments on the local dealers?

I got some better pics today, it's a little rougher than I am looking for but think its a great deal.

2001, 155K $8,500 Call Austin, he can email you some pics he took for me. Never met him, however he sells cars and listened to my questions and didn't push. So in my book that makes him ok and if in the market worthy of a call. This 100 needs to be mud built.

A little brake work could be $1k plus proposition to address MC, etc. This thing may be a deal at about $6000, IMO. Good find, nonetheless...thanks

$8500 is a good deal

They seem to be a large dealer. Honda or not, it makes me wonder why they wouldn't just take care of the "little brake work" it needs.

Agree with what @bluecruiser said. I would find out exactly what "little brake work" is needed. I would also make a big deal out of that missing bumper (regardless if you were going to rip it out and install an after market bumper). Its not just installing the bumper, but also matching the paint to the rest of the vehicle. It is a bargaining chip for you.

My thinking and this is just me. It needs a lot of little cosmetic stuff, guessing best case on the bumper skin $500, then touching up the body work another $500, then the interior wear and red stuff, then the brakes. It doesn't address timing belt or tires etc. guessing there is another $1k hidden.

I was thinking if everything checked out, drive home, stop in on way home for bumpers etc. At 8k if you put 7k for bumpers, sliders, winch, and PM $15k you have a based lined and armoured 100. Would I spend that for a turn key 100, yes. The issue for me, I can't see if the interior needs another $2K and exterior another $1K, but even then at $18K I think it would be a winner. I just don't have the time.
