I think I'm gonna go with the fj60 conversion mostly because I have a pump lined up. So I was wondering what other parts will I be needing exactly. There arent any write-ups in tech on this conversion. I guess its not a big option as far as 40's go. Thanks

I just finished one, and it went so easy and smoothly I did not even take any pix, around 8 hrs in it.
Here is a scout which for all purposes is just like it.

Tom Penninton's FJ60 write up is on our web page, he did not sleeve the frame to box bolts in the article, had to go back later and do it, so don't skip this.

Thanks Tex, the more write ups and pics I have the less likely I am to f this up when I tackle it. I have a lot of big junkyards around here I might need to check out for components too. Wouldnt have even thought of it if it weren't for the newsletter.
