I purchase a 2001 LC in Sep. 120k and car fax a mile long with maintenance only. I noticed that the Power steering fluid had never been changed so this past weekend I decided to change it. What alarmed me is the level in the reservoir. The fluid was so filthy it left a coating on the inside of the reservoir and appeared to have the proper quantity however it was lower than it appeared.
I guess I'm just giving advice here, but they put a dipstick in there for a reason. If you have been checking it visually, you may want to recheck it.
