I recently replaced my high pressure line and air control valve due to a leaking line and I cracked the old valve during removal. The truck does not leak at operating pressure. After engine shutoff, the truck will begin to leak power steering fluid from the union between the vacuum line and the air control valve assy. The valve appears to be functioning, as when i removed the vacuum line my idle increases noticeably. It is worth noting that I need to replace the clamps on the vacuum lines, as the OE ones are shot, and the generic hose clamp kit I have doesn't have anything that small. Regardless, I don't think I should have fluid in that area regardless. Currently losing roughly all of my fluid every 3 days. Don't worry, I keep drip trays down at all times in my garage.

I've tried swapping the lines, but there is no noticeable difference.

Sounds like you got a bad valve.

Well, If I understand you the valve is leaking ATF, which makes it bad. The vacuum and hydraulic fluid should not mix. My guess is its not leaking when running because the fluid is being sucked into the intake. I can't say I ever noticed my idle changing when the hoses were disconnected.
