Power steering issues (1 Viewer)

Have a 60 box on the 40. Turns very easy when going left.
Much harder trying to turn it right, almost feels like now power steering
at all.
Any ideas?

Sounds like trash in the valve in the steering box. Or the box needs rebuilt.

New install or old part acting up?
Same when drag link unattached?
Been wheelin or sittin?
Broken birfield it might be
When I broke the long field inner race I could turn right easy but not past center to left barely at all...

Old box from your stash, haven't tried with it disconnected, been sittin inside all winter.
Have the box from Rob's rig and I'm going to swap that in and see what happens. If that one works then I'll
need to find a replacement for mine.

Old box is out, spare is about halfway in. Bolts are going back in
pretty hard, will finish it up after work tomorrow.
Everything turned fine with it disconnected.

Mine is like that but hard steering to the left, longs are good, might be a week pump, the 60 box leaks also, that might be my issue. ????

New-used box is in, works ok.
Check all my osther fluids, weld the drain plug in on the front
diff and off to F & F tomorrow.
