After rebuilding the power steering pump and reinstalling it, how many lock to lock of the steering wheel (front wheel off the ground) does it take to bleed all the air out of the system? The ATF is bubbling--not boiling--inside the power steering reservoir. I don't see any leaks. Perhaps I didn't get all the air out of the system? I am pretty sure the rebuilt was done correctly. Any ideas and advice are welcomed. Thanks.

I don't worry much about it, turn it a few times and then drive, should clear up in a couple of short drive cycles. ATF foams more, so takes a bit more to clear, hydraulic oil clears up quicker, ether way it's not a big deal.

I drove it a couple of times around the block tonight. It didn't seem to make much of a difference. The pump was quiet, so that's good. Per Tool's advice, I'll see how it goes as I drive it more. Thanks.

As long as the pump is quiet your good to go. There is a lot of circulation in the reservoir, so it's normal to see some bubbles in it.
