can the wings still open?

I have the full set of heatshields, they are sweet. The rear window and side panels stay on full time and I put the fronts in when sleeping in rig

@Mike NXP I do too! It's a solid bit of kit, made in USA, and rather inexpensive to get the full set.

Mine are silver mylar on the outside. I believe they are now offering a gold mylar option. The rear tailgate one I modded and added 2 of the spare suction cups closer to the bottom so that it stays flush against the window. The cargo ones have been hanging for almost 2 months now and haven't fallen or detached.

They can, but the heat shield will fall off if you are moving. It's just held in by suction cups.

I have been using the same for a few years now with great results. I keep the three rear windows covered at all times.

Ditto, the shade on my rear hatch is able to squeeze between the glass and plastic trim so that never comes off, except for the occasional cleaning. The others are so easy to just pop in once parked. I carry a lot of camera gear and other electronics and it makes a huge difference for heat and security. I also sleep in the rig alot and it keeps all light out.
