Powdercoated needed in North NV

I don't know of any shops in either Carson or South Shore, but I've had nice results from both Advanced Powder Coating (775) 358-4610 and the Powder Man (775) 359-2480, both in Reno.

From my experience, the Powder Man does a really nice job, thick and even coverage, but takes a little longer to get your parts back to you.

Advanced has a Crack-a-suarus (She's hot though) working the front desk. They are faster, but again, you have to deal with the dragon at the front desk. Last time I had parts coated there (07-12), they misplaced a few of the items and it was up to me to provide proof that they had received them in the first place. They eventually found the missing parts, but it was still a p.i.t.a.

I also paid exra for their double dip coating (I forget the exact verbage they call it) and don't believe I recieved it. My coverage is very thin.

Isn't that the truth!!! If staring could get it cheaper and better :D

I've always had great experiences at Advanced as long as Guy gave me the price. I've never gotten past 1st base :D when the gal's been there as the price is always about 2X other places and/or Guy's price.

I did the 3 coat process on my Slee Blueberry front bumper and they did a super job that has held up incredibly well.

One of these days I'm going to get an old oven and do my own small parts powder coating. One of these days...

I recently used Marq Powdercoating on Freeport St in Sparks with good results and good prices. My experiences with Advance and Powder Man have been similar to those above.

Sierra Powder Coating has done the best work I have received locally (Dan Streight quality) but they are also the most expensive.
