I'm thinking of getting my full profile cage powder coated. It still needs to be welded up so it is raw metal. The extras I ordered with it were the A-pillar grab handles, front and rear frame tie-ins, and front and rear centre overhead bars.

I'm trying to get quotes from shops around here (Toronto, Canada). I just wanted to ask what people were paying out there.

I'm in the middle of getting quotes for mine as well. Its a pretty big cage with approximately 150 feet of tube for my CJ8. One place quoted me $400 and the other place quoted $350. Both quotes were verbal and I just described it to the powder coating shop as stated above (color is semi gloss black). Both prices include paint removal and phosphate treatment.

^ Yeah getting the old paint off will involve more labour. My cage is new raw steel.

Currently getting $200 for a single coat polyester silver and $280 for a dual coat silver w/ clear.

Still waiting on a few more quotes.

My guy can beadblast it and powder coat the whole thing for about $12/ft of tube... so around $600ish. Without the beadblasting, it is much cheaper but he won't warranty the work for as long.
