I am going to try hard to get out to the property around 4:00 (assuming all the stars line up) if anyone gets out there earlier, the padlock code is LAND on one of the 6 padlocks. If there are any issues and you need to get a hold of me my Cell is 619-518-5577
Looks forward to seeing everyone!

Here is where the flat areas are were we can set up camp. Feel free to drive all around the place! Just be carefully when you get to the power pole and go straight south (downhill) it gets a little narrow not much room to turn around, but you can always bushwack it!

So it looks like we are going have somewhere around 18-20 of us (including kids), so it should be a good time. I am planning on bringing up some Horse Shoes so we can have a little entertainment, if anyone has corn hole or some other camp game to keep us entertained while we are drinking beer, bring it on!

I have a frisbee and a dog. I'll see if I can find anything else haha

Sorry I missed this, last minute trip to North Carolina to help some friends with hurricane recovery.

Thank you to all that came out to Potrero this weekend and to everyone who cooked. We had amazing meals everyday @Tylerh84 @Cruiser Bauers I was a really good turn out with 5 TLCA members along with 3 Overland Bound members and a couple others (non denominational). By my count we had 18 campers (Big and Small) plus a friend of mine brought his family out for the evening (In his Chevy Volt, which he probably cursed me all the way home as he rubbed a little plastic driving into to the property). The view was amazing, especially at night with the City of Tecate giving us a beautiful backdrop of distant city lights and some faint Tecate club music while sitting around the fire while the kids made smores and the Big Kids told stories drinking beer and smoking stogies.

All of the kids who came seemed to have endless hours of exploring the area climbing boulders and everything else their imaginations could think up.

We got to go do a little wheeling on the local trails out East of the property, we ended up looping around a couple times exploring some of the trails that we weren't sure where they went to, but had little doubt we would get lost since we were basically between the border of Mexico and the Highway 94 to explore out East. On the way back we did miss one of the trail turn off's and ended up at the southern edge of the property, but ran into a gate and had to work our way back around and up to where we were camping, but it was all part of the experience.

A few of us went over to the high point of the property and sprayed a little hot lead into the adjacent mountain side, making sure not to cause an international incident by lobbing a round over the fence (which was 1 1/2 miles from where we were shooting parallel to).

We will definitely have to make this a spot we go back to.
