Posts per page, and overview while replying/posting

First of all, thanx for all the effort going into maintaining and updating this forum. It's a big job and a great resource.

Will there be, or is there, a way of setting how many posts I would like to see per page, like there was on the old forum? It is difficult to get a good overview of a thread when I have to go back and forth through many thread-pages.

Same when replying/posting to a long thread - you can only see a few posts back. The old system where you could see the whole thread as text-only was very useful. You need to see what has been said before in order to know what more you can add to the thread, not to repeat old info and not miss out on something else. As it is now, it is sometimes required to open a second browser page, and even then you can only see max 20 posts, or maybe only the last one if that one is on a new thread-page.

There is no option for more than 20 posts per page...since that was the default on the previous software, changing it globally will mess up SEO terribly.

Have you used mult-quote? Click the +quote on the posts you wish to reply to, then "more options" in the reply box and that should allow you to reply to individual posts (and easily edit/summarize those quotes too)
