Hello everyone,
Just doing some work on the underside of my 1998 KZJ78 prado and I noticed this oil spray. I thought initially it was the diesel fuel lines but it looks more like spray to me the way it's located on the exhaust as well. Possibly from my Output mainseal on transmission? It's tacky, not wet but there is quite a bit of caked dirty oil/grease Anyone seen this before? If it is the mainseal, are they hard to replace? Anyone have a link to purchase one? I'm located in canada and parts aren't the easiest to find.

Cheers and happy wheeling

Lomo

Looks like someone was over zealous with the use of a grease gun on that uni joint. As it spins around it coats the parts around it.

Mine looks the same way for the same reason. Better too much grease than not enough I guess....haha.
