Late tuesday night as i was coming home from my hockey game i caught a glimpse of what i think is a white 60 series cruiser in the lot at the Little Lot on Stony plain road just west of 215 st. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about it, it'scondition, price, if it is even a cruiser (like i said I just caught a glimpse)

If it is a cruiser and you do know the details let me know. I'm going through cruiser withdrawal:frown:

thanks.

Also, if anybody is interested in winning a new toyota 4 runner, toyota canada is giving one away. you have to upload a video of your toyota in action. go to http://www.4runner.ca/en/contest/info/overview to enter (i've got two entries in already and i'm keeping my fingers crossed)

damn...i wish i had more vids and less pics of the stupid crap iv done in my cruiser!

Are you looking on Kijiji James? There is the odd deal that pops up on there, mind you in my mind a crapbox for less than $1000 is a better deal than a nice truck for $5000

I went and looked at it on Saturday. It's an 83 bj60 manual with 691k on the odometer. BUT the guy has a sheet in the window that says it has had over 30k worth of restorations done to it. According to the sheet it has a 13bt engine with 50k on it and it has new springs, new interior as well as some other things that i can't remember. there are lots of rust bubbles all over the truck and there are some big soft spots on the rear quarter panels. so maybe the 30k in restos was done 10+ years ago?. he is asking $6555 for it.

i'll pass on this one.

That sounds familiar. Did it have funny bumpers on it? Tube bumpers that stook out quite a bit? If it's the one I am thinking of the work was done at 4 wheel around 7-8 years ago.

If it's the one I drove it and was really impressed with the how the 13bt felt in a 60. Wouldn't have expected the body to be bubbling already though...

yes it did. i was wondering how that engine would perform. with the age of the restorations and the condition of the truck, it seems to fit.

I took it for a test drive a couple months back, yea 700000kms. I asked the salesman if he could show some paperwork for the 30k of work invested shown on the window, he got all snubby and told me that I should just believe him, "you don't always need to see all the receipts for the work done." I told that if he going to boast about all the work done to the truck, at least have some receipts for the major things done.

Also, try to engage 4wheel drive, it won't engage. Either the transfer case is shot, or the front end is shot.
