Patrick, I can't make the meeting tomorrow night so we can settle on Saturday if you like.
We are going meet at Jeff's place around 1:00 and depart for the game at 2:30 or so. It looks like it is going to be a hot one on Saturday with a high of 87. Fortunately it is a late afternoon game so I have hopes that it will cool down quote a bit.
Doug Fister, who threw a shutout on Sunday, is slated to pitch for the Nats. Yee haw. It is also "10th Anniversary Day Featuring Frank Robinson," so they might be giving away some goodies at the gate. You get to see a Hall of Fame inductee to boot. See you guys soon.

So much for Fister on Saturday. He just took over for Stras in the 3rd.

I was the game last night -- Fister got 1/3 of our hits with that at bat. Looks like Strasburg has some shoulder issue that they say is minor.
With Scherzer slotted back into the rotation where they put him, that gives us Fister on Saturday.

A week+ overdue but wanted to say thank you to Bart for setting this up. It was an awesome game and even better finish with Harper hitting a walk-off home run. My son, nephew, brother in law and I all had a great time. Thanks again Bart.

Sorry for the tardy reply, I haven't been on the forum much lately. Life is crazy-busy.
I had a blast doing it. It is great when you can combine passions -- if only we could have camped in the outfield. It was a pretty hectic afternoon, and out of all of the baseball games I have attended, probably the one I paid the least attention to the game. But you know, family, friends, beer etc. I think a made out alright.
