Okay, so all this talk about accommodations for the Spring Tide Ride got me thinking about reserving some cabins for Portsmouth Island.

Originally the dates were November 5-8 but every last cabin was already booked!! Doh!

I went ahead and booked two cabins for the next long weekend (November 12-15) and two for the long weekend after that (November 19-22) so we would have some space reserved.

At this point I need some feedback regarding which set of dates work best so I can cancel the extra reservations.

Thanks!

I would think that the 12th through 15th would be better for planning (farther away from thanksgiving) and for weather.

I have to check with the Boss.

Towards the end of October would be better fishing... just saying. I hopefully can attend again this year. Please lets not let the Johns cook again lol

I am flexible and good from October to mid November, need to stay away Thanksgiving as the traveling circus comes to town (in-laws), dont want to miss that entertainment

I'm in , just put in for time off.

All right Eric! I am in too, looking forward to it. I haven't camped in a beach since High School, down in St. John USVI, water was warmmmm

Another trip to Portsmouth, the Shandors wouldn't miss it! And ditto to not letting the John's cook together again. ;)

12-15 Nov 2015 I just put it on our calendar.
We spent the night in Ocracoke last Sunday and I was ready to go to Portsmouth the next day.
I would go this weekend if it was on.
I really loved Ocracoke, the beach just like I like it. PI should be even beachier and OI is just a boat ride away.
We need to have a motorboat on this trip somehow, my little Whaler got lost in Hurricane Michele.
