I prefer them on a grill. I'd say use a medium flame to get them cooked all of the way through if they are the thick "Iowa chops" that I usually see around here. If they are thinner butterfly chops, turn the flame up a little more.

Of course, I also like them baked with your favorite recipe. How many do you have? Maybe you could try several different methods - It'll still taste good no matter what you do, as long as you don't burn 'em to a crisp.

the grill, no doubt!! DO NOT overcook as they will dry out... Good eats!

I like to take my thawed chops, rub some yellow mustard on 'em and then my favorite rib rub, cover them and leave them sit for three hours or so in the fridge. Then I brush them with some bbq sauce, kiss 'em w/ a flame on the grill, and then cook them indirectly until they're done. Viola! Enjoy!

Best served w/ corn on the cob, salad, some corn bread or biscuits, and of course some cold beverages.

I personally like to lightly coat with garlic salt and grill on a fairly hot charcoal grill. As was mentioned don't overcook, just past pink works for me. For the rest of you this meat all came from Fareway Stores, my favorite place to purchase meat. -Larry

X2 on Fareway! I always stock up with at least $100 worth of meat when I come back home. And as mentioned, deffinately grill them. Use a rib rub and garlic salt and grill them till they are no longer pink. right before I take them off, I baste with melted butter for 2 minutes on each side on a hot flame to cook in the butter and glaze the outside. Make sure to have some good french bread and salted corn to go with it. If you are not pissed off when your last bite is gone, you did something wrong. :D

Grill is good, but smoker is better-er.

If you've got a smoker.....

I don't know much about the grilling part...but here are a couple of suggestions for adding flavor:

Garlic Grilled Pork Chops
6 - 1" think pork chops (or lamb chops)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 TBS honey
2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp black pepper

Place ingredients in plastic bag, add chops, seal and marinate in refrigerator at least 8 hours.

Or...if you don't have time to marinade...for the chops I suggest the pepper herb seasoning and if you still have steaks left, the steak seasoning rocks!
