there is no filter at the gun.... but not a bad idea.



I use them every time I paint anything....

I do not have issues like that with my paint projects...and I have a far less elaborate air supply/filter system/trap as what you are talking about.

what kind of stupid world is this where expensive or fancy paints have to have perfect spraying conditions and cheap rattle-can garbage can be sprayed over dirty metal and last forever?

we kryloned my buddies 40 years ago and its help up just fine. sure it doesn't look great, but neither does this so far (and at 20 times the price).
i smell a conspiracy.
Well - POR15 is a specialty paint after all. I always thought it was only for sealing rusty steel, and (after a proper prep) it seems to work well for that. I don't really think it's sold as a "fine finish", general use kind of paint - even if it is expensive. All the samples they have in the catalog/on website look pretty bad from a finish perspective. My rattle-can stuff always looks better than what I've done with POR15.
