How about some close ups of the finished product. How much did you use and what type of roller.

I used a 4in foam roller. 2 quarts on the body and 2 pints on the roof. I'll vet some pics after I wash it. I just back from doing some wheeling and it's dirty.

here are some pics close up

Looks great, I like the orange peel. Tends to hide bad bodywork which is why I'm a big fan of it!

What poduct is on the bottom, the black? Is that the hard nose?
How about a picture of that too. Is it textured more?

Is the tan the white coat?

I love that color, I will have to look into this product. It is time to fix some holes and rus-proof the fj60 soon. I know the Por-15 rust frame cure but did not know that made this stuff.

Keep us posted on how hard and durable it is and how it holds up in color / uv fade if any?

The bottom is Truck Bed Liner Kit #265GK:Truck Bed Liner | PlastiKote Paint Products I got it at walmart for $70 for the kit. When I saw it I thought why the hell not.

Yes, that is WHITECOTE-POR-15 Inc.

I asked about UV and they said it has UV protection in it, but we will see. It took my key after 3 weeks to see if I could scratch it and it did. We will see how it holds up to the brush.

I looked into the por-15 hard nose and it looks like good stuff, but sorry to heard it did not hold up to the key.
How many coats did you put on?
Got a photo of the key scratch?
Do you think it would go on smoother with less texture if you spread it on?

I did 2 coats. Not sure about spraying it on if it will lay down better because I've never sprayed before.

Are you happy with the product? and do you think it will hold up to rock chips, branches, and rust better than regular paint?

I am thinking of using this on my truck's lower half where you have put the bed liner stuff on. I like the look and need to fix some rust first but I am not sure I like the super rough texture of the bed liner stuff so I am thinking of going with the por-15 hard nose.

Thanks.

Yes, for the money I have in it. I thought it would come out darker based on the website. HARDNOSE PAINT-POR-15 Inc. I actually suspect that the paint was mislabled. Time will tell how it will hold up.
