popping sound when pressing clutch on lj71

I 'm feeling a pop when i press the clutch in my 88 lj71. Anyone else have this issue? Any diagnostics i could run?

A "pop" is a sound,so are you hearing a noise or do you feel some movement in the pedal?

I would get someone to operate the pedal while you you feel/watch the clutch lever movement at the gearbox.
