Pop Up Ad on screen

I'm getting a pop up ad on the bottom of the screen when I'm on my I Pad.
When I scroll it goes away but then comes back. Have not seen this before is this something new?

PC, Mac, IOS, iPad, android tablet, which browser, etc..."having problems" is like saying "why won't my car start" and not giving me any additional info.

I see MORE ads than ANY member or visitor on the site, and have not had one single popup. I can't stand them either

I made sure my pop ups were turned off and I’m not sure what else I can do.
Apple store maybe, they can turn something off or on. It’s annoying as you scroll it goes away then pops right back hard on the eye’s I’ll go back to the PC until I can kill it.

This has been happening on my Verizon droid 4 phone. Not using the Mud app.

The APP is not the issue. This is a full-site w/tablet issue. It's likely one of the ad networks updated their code structure and it's conflicting with how tablets display everything.

On a good note, I'm able to duplicate the issue...appears a 320x50 banner (or scaled to screen bottom) is appearing...will work on chasing down the offending advertiser.

I've been working on some mobile display options for the site, and am guessing something I did created the issue...now to backtrack to last week and try to recall what adjustment may have caused it...

Pop up wasn't that big a issue. Just giving some more info. Most the time I can close it on the upper right corner. Sometimes my fat thumb opens the ad. The auto spell check on the phone is another issue. Not if that's a mud thing or android issue but it's a pain if you try change anything.

spell check is native to your phone...

adjusted a handful of things about 1a this morning, and a few more about 5:30a, but unsure how long it will take to propagate thru...will monitor.

I too have been getting a pop up at the bottom of my IPad mini for The Economist, no thank you! Is my silver star up?

This has nothing to do with Silver Star or not...it is an android app/google app/ios app that I haven't tracked down yet....an issue with tablet use on the forum.

It happens on my Nexus 4 phone. I'm rooted and have ad blocking turned on and it somehow makes it past it.

Running a tcpdump, I see DNS requests for these 2 ad networks:

ad2.afy11.net
ad-x.co.uk

based on the IP's I've pulled from the displayed ads, neither tracks from those...still chasing, and having no luck just yet...
