Politics on Forum

As moderator of this fine forum..........................I propose we keep politics out of here.

I know from personal experience stuff like this can cause damage that takes some effort to repair......sometimes from people that you thought shared the same opinions......WRONG....oops.


feel free to post thoughts....however this (forum) is not a democracy

Remembering back from my Political Science class in college, "Politics is conflict, conflict is politics...". Seems to me that based on this definition of politics, it will always exist and thrive here...

Maybe we might consider re-reading our own posts before submitting them, and take a little of the personal nature out of what we say, so we would be less likely to offend each other.

I know that I have many beliefs, likes and dislikes that you (or someone else) may or may not like. For instance, I am not much of a beer drinker, but that does not mean that I can't still appreciate a good beer. Does that make me any less of a person (now that should get a huge amount of comments back)?
