PMC Members and friends...

Our 27th Annual Swap Meet and Show is scheduled for July 12th, 2025 at the Holy Ghost Hall in Petaluma (same place as always).
While a significant amount of preparation has been happening, it is time to call upon our Club Members to support the Raffle.
All club members are asked and encouraged to provide a raffle prize(s) in support of the Raffle in which all proceeds will be donated to the #LiveLikeLash scholarship fund. Last year our event raised in excess of $3,500.! This could not happen without your help and support. Club members who donate to the raffle will receive an event T-shirt as a token of appreciation.

We need Sellers! Last year Sellers were slim for various reasons so this year, all Sellers will get in free if arriving before 9 AM! Yes, there is a caveat... we need sellers early and not directly before the raffle. So please load up your extra parts and treasures and bring them out to sell. You might even make some coin!

More to come!

Directions:
Holy Ghost Hall, 4699 Bodega Ave Petaluma, CA
Hwy 101 towards Petaluma.
Take the E. Washington off ramp, head West. Go 5 miles on this road. It will turn into Bodega Ave all by itself. The Hall is on the left, 5 miles out.
Gates open at 7 AM for sellers to arrive (free entry for sellers), 8 AM for everyone else ($5 entry).
Dutch Oven cooking demonstration!
Raffle between noon and 1pm, must be present to win.
Event ends after raffle, around 2pm
Limited supply of event T shirts will be available, will take advance reservations on shirts (drop me a note). They will sell fast.

In support of the #LiveLikeLash scholarship fund this year! Yes, this year PMC will donate all proceeds from the raffle to this worthy cause.

if you or your club would like to help us support this worthy cause, please volunteer a raffle prize or other incentive to help us sell tickets!

Please come out and visit will all your TLCA friends! (An event that does not need 4 wheel drive to access.)

Event Chairmen include but are not limited to: Andy Hagin, Larry Yodaman Kitahara, Dion Mattei, Dave Thomas, Don Gatton, Michael Dremann, Big Jim Adams, Jeeper Ron, John Evans, Adam Reichmuth, Ryan Izmert, Jeff Nyholm, Tony Twiddy and Jason Wandry.

Thanks in advance!

I can not sell if I work the gate, but willing to do either, whichever is more important for me to do.

Just let me know

I may have left overs from the LV project to get rid of. So far, horse trading to guys in need has taken care of most of my "extra" parts. I should be done with it by then (as if these projects are ever "done").

Well FOO FOO again!!
Might be missing this one, gonna be really really hard to convince the wife to let me roll down to Petaluma the day after my knee surgery.

i will make sure to hook up a few raffle prizes prior with Tony, and send in a stand in to hold my raffle tickets, but my ugly mug will probably not be there this year.

I greatly apologize, I do like to help when I can.

Thanks :(

Bummer Michael. You will be missed.
You won't going far for a week or two.
Buy a countertop ice maker to make your own ice. Your freezer one won't keep up. You will go through a lot with the ice cooling machine you use to help with the pain.
With my sons knee surgery recently we went through about 20 pounds or more a day for about 2 weeks. then less after that.

Dave,
Thanks for the advice, but I am very fortunate, one of my buddies has a really nice one that works off a little mini fridge, with 10 foot insulated lines so I can leave it plugged in on the porch, and it will reach the couch, no ice needed just circulates the cooling fluid. He has had several knee surgeries, and said I can have it while I am going through this, think the other knee will be soon after rehab on this one.

hmmm... if he has had several knee surgeries, he may not be the guy to take advice from.

Ideally it is done once... (new knee that is). My dad loves his new knees...

Back on topic... Beginning the shirt effort today. All club members who donate a raffle prize in excess of $30 gets a free shirt.

Shirts this year will have the PMC logo on the back, Swap Meet, and icons for our club member businesses (Terrain Tamer, Mudrak, Wilson Restoration and Yodaman to name a few. (feel like I'm missing one...)

Tony--Would there be any interest in new vendors coming to swap meet and/or sending a representative e.g. to help with the raffle? I’m headed to my local Toyota parts department tomorrow, and they’ve supported other local clubs in the past in various ways, including both of these, so I'm anticipating questions in case I get to talk with anyone there about this. I'll also start reaching out to folks I’ve made purchases from in the past year who might be interested in supporting swap meet and the raffle. Should I ask Scrubblade again? I haven't needed any wiper blades this past year... Fingers crossed I can get some donations for the raffle this year!

And are you missing Marlin Crawler and Cruiser Brothers for club member businesses? My apologies if I'm misremembering any details.

much to my chagrin, we most likely will NOT have 4 color shirts as I had hoped due to cost and my limited count...

But they are still going to look great! and remember the cause... in support of the #LiveLikeLash scholarship fund!

I can ask my neighbor who does T-shirt printing for a quote if that might be at all helpful? (No pressure either way, of course.) Just in case it's still possible to make those 4 color shirts happen :) I'm pretty sure he's ok with small batch prints and can get any kind of shirt you'd like.

Tony, curious, whats the cost increase for the colors ? or is it a minimum count needed to run 4 color ?

Not exactly sure but basically the cost of each screen creation is spread across your shirt count... less amount of shirts mean each bears a larger brunt of the set up cost. While I want nice shirts, I need to be cognizant of cost as this impacts our overall donation.

However, using aid from our members, I have reached out to some additional vendors and had some very positive results... more to come.

also, Dave and I are discussing a May (15th) meeting in SR to discuss Barrett Lake and allow members to drop of their raffle prizes. Probably do another breakfast in June for the same purpose... swap meet planning, etc.

OK, good, I like the quick meetings, allows people to catch up and stay in the loop and IMO will get more done, thanks for coordinating the extra effort T.

confirmed, May 15th meeting, Marlow Road shopping center, usual spot...

Here's an opportunity to drop off your swap meet raffle prize and confirm your shirt size.

Our next swap meet planning get together is June 14th, breakfast at Sam,s in SR... This is the final opportunity to drop off raffle prizes for those who are unable to attend on July 12th.

Reminder... Swap meet breakfast June 14th at Sam's in Santa Rosa... 8:30 to 9:30 to drop off raffle prizes if you cannot attend the swap meet.

Thanks for the support!

Funny Tony,
I was just looking, and was about to type up "when is Breakfast", and all the sudden your post pops up.
Thank you

TTT, PMC Breakfast Saturday June 14th, Sams cafe on Cleveland in Santa Rosa. Final planning and discussion and opportunity to drop off swap meet raffle items. 8.30 to 9.30 although will be in early and probably want to leave early.

If you cannot attend swap meet, this is your last chance to drop off item(s) and get an event T shirt. Or just come have some breakfast.
