So where is the Cruiser now?
It sounds like you shouldn't be driving it at all until you check it out a bit more, I'm surprised any mechanic would let you drive in the condition described. If one of the guys here that has a flatbed trailer doesn't volunteer to help you out I'd buy a AAA membership and get it towed to your house. If it's close to home just use a tow strap.

Once you get it home repair the clutch, NAPA carries slave and master cylinders. NEVER buy ANYTHING from Reno Toyota, contact Cruiser Dan or Beno on Mud. They are sales guys at American Toyota in NM and will save you a metric ton of money over the next few months and years.

Once you have the clutch hydraulics repaired fix the T-case linkage. Then go through the brakes. After sitting for 6 years there WILL be issues with the brakes.

Between IH8Mud and the guys in Battle Born you should be able to fix anything wrong with your truck.

BTW welcome to Mud:flipoff2:, and welcome to the madness of living with a Cruiser.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my posts. Brakes are good. Lines could use replacing. Vehicle is approx 50 yards from my house. Vehicle runs and drives, or rather, will drive once I replace slave this week. Transfer case is fine. The main thing I need is the linkage shown on page 3. Why I posted here, is to see if anyone has that linkage for sale? If not, I will just have to go with the the floor conversion.

If I do that, after buying the parts I will need someone to install it. I don't want to mess it up.

I might have the linkage you seek. I just had to make a custom one due to my changes.

I'll look when I get a few minutes tonight.

Slave kits are cheap at Napa, Reno Brake might even have a new cylinder. Oooh, is that a 9mm fitting? Is the master plastic or metal?

Welcome to Mud, and we have a good local cruiser scene and look forward to seeing you around.

Sorry I can't help on the linkage, I may have the shift linkage from my 75 (floor shift) around someplace.
Based on my experience with the FJ40's I'd at least pull the brake drums off and inspect shoes and adjusters on a "new to you" truck. The shoes on land cruisers are not self adjusting, it's a PM thing you just have to do a couple of times a year. If you don't adjust them they will eventually start to pull which can get exciting in a panic stop.

Thank you PSRENO! That would be great if you have it. Please get back to me when you can.

TY rusty for the info.
