Hello everyone,

I have had my car serviced at a local garage, the guy replaced a seal and a bearing on my steering rack, and those bushes that hold the whole steering rack. Today I have noticed that I have a gap inside my wheel well (like something is missing), and when I looked at the right hand side there is some plastic that protects the engine well, but there is none on left side. I called the guy who did the work, and he swears that he never removed any plastic from wheel well. My car is a Land cruiser 90, 3.0TD 1999, left hand drive, and if anyone has some free time please take a picture of your left wheel well while the wheel is turned to the left. I just want to see if its the same as mine. Thank you in advance.

I dont own a 90 but does this help?
Are you talking about a flap which hangs down from the body and over the chassis, its inside the wheel well?

Thanks kbushnz for posting, it looks like that, but this is a picture of mine. This picture is of left hand side, and with the circles I have marked where I think that the cover is bolted, and with the other very odd shape I have marked where I think that the cover needs to go.
Anybody, please let me know if you have something there.

I cant find it on toyodiy, I mean I dont know what is it called, is it
53735B SEAL, FRONT FENDER APRON, UPPER
and
53887D SEAL, FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD, NO.1

Anyone, please, just tell me if you have something there, if you have a 90-series Land Cruiser, just look at your wheel well and tell me if you see this gap, or you have a plastic cover.

THANKS!

You nedd the piece marked with a red arrow.

It happend the same to me, the piece was "misteriously" missing in a garage.

Tomorw I will post a pic and the part number printed in the invoice.

I replaced mine when they got damaged...With just a plain sheet of rubber.
Way cheaper than Mr Toyota.....
Also the one missing for you is the same as the one on the other side of your truck...
So you have a template now.

You gave me an idea, I will just take a piece of rubber and place it there to cover the gap.
Thanks for sharing!

Here are the pictures, right side and left side.

Look at your ride(it looks great), it looks like yours has never been driven in the rain, and snow. But then again, I see that You are from Venezuela, it probably never snows there, maybe in The Andes.
Great pictures, thanks..

I bought it 6 month ago, the original owner never used it in offroad.....

The only way to see snow is in July in the top of The Andes, but is very few....
