So I'm thinking that instead of building/drawers I am going to put a platform in the back cargo area. Something that will basically make a straight flat surface over the wheel wells and maybe be even with the second row seats folded down. My plan is to also hinge it in the front of of the cargo area so it will open up to access what will be a good deal of storage. My question is does anybody have a template or anything like that from building drawers? Or any other good ideas? I'm thinking 3/4" plywood with 2x4s and one long piano hinge and some kind of latching to keep it closed. It will basically be sitting on top of the carpet and somehow anchored. Just thought I would get any ideas anybody might have about it all.
