I made a platform last week and finished it up tonight. I used the mat as the template.

I would love a fridge slide but POs are hard to come by around here. This mod cost me under 100.00. Might add a single drawer if my carpenter buddy has time to fab me one..

I used existing bolt holes to mount the platform to rig, so no drilling. Added an extra piece on the forward end to compensate for the dip. I also choose the fridge location because Ben can still recline his seat if tired and I can open the fridge and the lid will stay open.

I am closing in on finishing this rig in short order. It feels like this has been a fast process, as I bought the LC in early December but I just remembered doing CM08 in a stock FJC and then having it ready by early June for the Rubicon...whacko.

Hi Chris:
Nice platform! Just a thought- if you used tie-downs that fold, would that allow you to use the entire bed without unscrewing the eyebolts when you have reason to remove the cooler/fridge?

Hi Louis,

Not sure I understand your question but my plan is to remove the entire platform via 4 bolts when not prepping for or on a trip. Then the wife can still use the back for what ever and I can toss the 3rd row seats back in.

That is the plan, but we will see, it may just stay in all the time, the fridge is really nice to have in there for Costco runs, baseball games, etc..
