Plasma Cutter

I am looking for a plasma cutter the local welding shop has Thermal Dynamics Cuttmaster 42 {made in china] over 1000.00
Eastwood has their own brand [made in china] 599.00
I wonder which one is better being both are made in china

wow, that must be a recent change. I picked up a Cutmaster 52 about a year ago and it has MADE IN USA stamped all over the box. I just did a quick google search and see that they clearly show the 42 as being made in china.

either way, I would go with TD, they have a better warranty, easier to find parts and service when you really need it. Go online and pick up the 42 for around $900, no tax or shipping.

Believe it or not good ol Harbor freight has a pretty decent one, and I am not a fan of Chinese products.
