I'm planning on taking two days to drive up to Moab from Las Vegas. I'll be taking HWY 12 and thinking of staying one night in Escalante. I'm gonna have eight people in my 80 - all my wife's family. Except for my wife, they're not the outdoor type and I want to show them a good time.
I haven't really been in that area before. My plan is to hit Bryce Canyon, Kodachrome, and Petrified Forest. How does my plan sound? What else should I see? Are there any cool off road trails I can take during the winter?
