Hey guys, I searched, and I know of some places. If I wanted to go out and have a moderate, 60 friendly fun place to wheel, that will challenge some, but not tear up my stuff, where would be a good place? I'm looking for somewhat technical, but not black type trails. No serious ledges. I know of Tuttle, Kansas Rocks, Disney, Flat nasty. Any more that might be worth it? Are there any national forests around that would be worth trying? Three day weekend kind of a trip.

Thanks
Ex

Since I'm still new to the area I can't offer anymore places than you just mentioned. I know I've had fun at Tuttle (minus the mud) and I am certainly open to checking out new places. Flat Nasty is a little far to go from Wichita for a weekend trip but I'm open to K-rocks. I have heard it's rather tight for wagons though so if you're not into damage maybe that's not the best choice. Mike and I (for now) have talked briefly about going to Tuttle late Jan. or in Feb. to wheel before things thaw and get real messy. I'm always open to having additional folks along.

Thanks for the replies. I have been to K-Rocks, and thought maybe it had widened a bit by now on the trails, but seems not, so will stay away from there for now. Tuttle sounds like the place, for a shake down run perhaps. Hopefully someone else chimes in with the other Missouri places.

Thanks

There are some forest trails in the Cassville area. Most are fairly easy, but some are tight for a wagon, but doable if you don't mind a little Missouri custom pinstriping :D

If you go there, I strongly recommend getting maps from the park service, since some of these trail run near or through private property.

Pssst!

Greenwood county, in Kansas has some remote roads. Also Elk County.

Thanks guys! Will check it out. If anyone wants to go wheelin, just let me know. I'm going to try and set up and Aussie locker in the rear. Might have some questions.
