I'm the proud owner of a new FJC. I want to stretch my offroading legs but don't know where to go. I want something mild to start with. I was told you guys might have some suggestions. My FJ is bone stock and will be until after graduation.

The only two places I know of are trails in the George Washington National Forest, just outside Harrisonburg off of Rt. 33 and the Conway River Trail in Madison county, north of Charlottesville.

The GWNF trails are pretty stock-friendly. Try posting in the general trail rides section to see if you can put together a trip out there. There are a few guys that live around h-burg that would probably show you around.
