It was as of August 05. Five of us went up there with mountain bikes, $300 for the trip up to the end of the lake and back. The boat could take a maximum of 6 people and bikes. I think it was arranged through the Pitt River Lodge

Would be a neat trip, but I would have to clean years of unuse off of my bike .
I recall we had talked about barging trucks up there once at a meeting years ago.

.....to the head of Pitt Lake. Apparently there is a logging camp up there. And once you are there, a short jaunt up a road to these fables Hot springs. Just hopefully no naked hairy loggers are frolicking at the time.

Barge because there is no other access short of an air drop.

been to the logging camp, used to have friends there that ran the rec center /bingo hall had a ton of fun up there .spend most of my summer's on the lake .have a few friends with cabins .one of them is renting cabins now .he has a small barge . beautiful lake .also have a bud that takes his jet boat up the river at the upper end of pitt.

A barg trip up there would make a great excursion. On my backraods map it shows an old road from just past the Norton lake turn off up Indian arm to the Pitt river area. Since Indian arm is closed and very aggressively patrolled it would be impossible to find, if it is still drivable at all.

Would be a great trip with a barg...
