So I was biching about this pitman arm last night, and Kevin gave me a chisel. I wiz-wheeled a slot, beat slot with chisel, and used arm puller. Came off smooth like butter. First 15 mins of this morning well spent!

Thanks for the handy tool and advise, Tools!

BTW this is after 2 cheapy pullers failing, fancy snap on tool failing, propane heat and beat failing, (should have used hot torch, but don't have one), and 1 bent 12 ton harbour freight press.

It only took my small brain a half a week to figure out the cost of the pitman arm (which i don't need anyway) didn't warrant this ridiculous attempt at sparing it.

I like the Tomohawk style Hatchet...allways on my bench as a handy tool!

Ha!

You guys are funny....those are OSHA APPROVED flip flops!:p

I have a matching hatchet thingy too. Just in case I have to "dual-wield"..which is a technique I learned in Alaska...or maybe that was watching my kid play World of Warcraft....can't recall. :hhmm:
