Busted plans here...maybe next year.

Gas is killin' us...still not decided for sure, but not looking good.

Better than it's been in ages but still way too frickin' high!

Pff. . . with gas prices like this how can it be killing you (this is todays price only at costco)

$2.19? DAAAANG that's cheap.

I, however, *REFUSE* to spend an hour sitting in line to save a few bucks. So no Costco for me. :D

Over in England (and many other places in Europe) gas is still over $10 a gallon.

I predicted we'd see gas go up to $6 before it dropped. I've never been more happy to be wrong.

If you go in the mornings (like I did at 0715 yesterday) or in the evenings after it gets dark (2000 ish) then there aren't lines. I've been told that costco uses only American gas and thats why its cheaper (now whether that is north or south American I'm not sure, lol).

I was actually with you on that guess sadly. Propane was becoming a serious debate (it may still : ).

Yeah but Europe isn't the U.S. It's been that high over seas since the dawn of time...well at least since well before the '80's

It hasn't been $8 - $10 since the 80's. ;p

And while it's always been higher than the US, it has not had this big of a proportional difference. Nor has Europe seen gas prices drop like we have--they've seen a tiny drop, while we've seen the next best thing to prices cut in half.

The cost of oil has not gone up proportionately to the cost of fuel. They are raising prices simply because they can.

As for europe no not that high, but proportionately higher to the U.S. Smarty pants :p

Pismo was a lot of fun. It did get really, really windy Saturday afternoon, but we all survived in fine form. Plus we paid $1.74/gallon for gas just south of Redding :) Bob
