He is on this forum in the Yankee Toys section. I talked with him and he needs to sell it for top dollar so he didn't want to squeeze any friends on the price. He's a nice guy

Pig

MAACO please NOOOOOOOO. They are cheap but that is about all. Even a person with zero experience in body work and painting could do a better paint job. I have seen cars painted by MAACO that the paint was falling off after 6 months. They do almost zero prep work. IMHO

True but if you're on a budget resto and it's gonna be in the garage 90% of the time then it;s actually a good option.....MAACO is all about how you spend. Don't get the $300 paint job...get the $600 paint job....generally if you spend a little bit more you get vastly better returns

The Pig is in fact mine. I thought I mentioned my reserve to the (1) guy in CONFIDENCE, now I guess any of the 105 people watching it who are MUD members or their friends know the reserve...

I guess it's not a big deal. The reserve shouldn't scare any serious bidder.

But I do want to apologize to the MUD members for not offering it here first. It's a money thing.

While I'm at it, thanks to ALL who answered my questions all these years. I'll still consider myself a 'cruiser guy, I'll just be without a truck (for a while).

Hey

Sorry about that. Didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag. I deleted that post. Guess I wasn't thinking that day. I guess I posted up the price because I thought it was a great deal. I mentioned top dollar and I had a feeling people were thinking $10k so I didn't want anyone to not seriously look at the truck.

Lesson learned. Sorry for any troubles.

No worries, I've always thought a reserve price attracts flaky bidders who bid up just to see what the reserve is, then disappear...

It's all good, take care...
