Picture size for uploads?

Been on a few days now and I don't seem to be able to find a "Help" section that lists the max picture size or how to make them full page like everyone else? Like the one here:

Do I need to edit it in my pic folder to be a certain size? Any help please!

i might be off base here, but you have two options in posting pics.... (1) upload, or (2) weblink.

perhaps if you upload, ih8mud limits the file size (basically downsizing it)... when i do a weblink to a picture hosting website (i use flickr for example), it comes through in it's full size glory.

could be the case, not sure... but i know when i link a photo from flickr, it comes through like this:

How are you posting your pictures? I use a third party host to upload my photos and embed the code into my forum posts. That shows the full picture. I think if you upload a picture using the forum reply function, it shows a small photo or thumbnail

I have been using the “attach file” button on the reply post, so that may be why. I’ll try just pasting it into the text and see. I don’t use third party,

I read here on MUD to upload to MUD. I used to use Photobucket, but the understanding is if you upload here, the photos will ALWAYS be here. Instead of Photobucket or other image hosting site closing down and now all your image links are dead. (infuriating)
No limit to quantity, as far as resolution I would imagine MUS isn't uploading full 55 megabyte pics taken with a full frame SLR, but @woody may have more insight into that.

I use TacomaWorld as my "third party" just because I've been uploading pictures there for years. Just like MUD, it's free, never down, and the links won't break like with photobucket. Photobucket sucks.
