Looking into buying this cruiser, and would be grateful if seasoned eyes gave an opinion. Looks mostly surface to me, but this isn’t my specialty. Thanks in advance!

not bad at all, touch up the little spots of rust with corroseal and then undercoat it with fluid film and you'll be good to go

Certainly nothing to be concerned with there, of course its not factory fresh but there is a bit of rust starting, no visible rot.

Ideally you can drop that spare tire and check the cross members up in that area over the rear diff. Everything else looks solid. Ask for maintenance history as well

I don't like buying rigs with tow hitches, check transmission fluid and make sure its not burnt up

These rigs are solid, just hope it has good maintenance history and minimal rust

My undercarriage has similar rust starting to form. It's amazing what an undercoating treatment can do to help slow it all down and make it look better too. Just a mess to work on anything once this is done lol

Look at the hardware on the muffler pic you shared too, they look good. Its not to out of the ordinary to see an exhaust much rustier and the bolts all rotted out. Fuel tank skid plate is another common rotted out area. Your doesn't look too bad.....You may have found a good specimen

Where is this vehicle located ?
Put the VIN into Toyota Owners website for possible service records

that is extremely minor, and would not concern me at all. Just treat with fluid film once a year to prevent it from getting any worse

11.2k, front seats Need work. And one small spot needs some paint. If the maintenance is right, I think it is a good deal.
