I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.4. The thread shown below has an embedded pic (I think) and it does not appear in my browser. I've attached an image of what I see when viewing the thread.
Brian - I'm not sure what you mean by link the thread. There is no link, but rather a dot. If you look closely at my screenshot, you'll see the dot right where yoiu would expect the link to appear. What's really odd is that I just re-opened the thread and the pics appeared.
The only change was I re-started Firefox. My guess it that I'm experiencing a memory problem (like not enough) so the browser decides not to show the images.
No big deal, just thought it might be something simple like changing an option in the browser.
GT, I have the same symptoms. Once in awhile all I see is a dot, while everyone else on the thread sees the picture. I use Opera 9.01, but it does it to me in Internet Explorer 6.0 also.

The first post apparently has several pictures in it that don't show up for me - here's a screenshot from firefox on Linux. Note that a later pic in the same thread shows up. IE & Firefox on windows give the same thing - though IE gives a small white box with a red X in it.
Are these remotely hosted, and no longer available? I never see other people complaining, so I figure it must be me.
