So if I was looking at 17"s, 285 70's is the ticket for stock?

Yes. And it is the only tire size Toyota specifically recommends for use with the TRD 17" wheels on the Land Cruiser:

You can read the entire document detailing the installation of the wheel/tire combo here: https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/installation/40362D86F9D917D98825767800785BB2_Tundra_Sequoia_Land Cruiser TRD Alloy Wheel PTR45-34070-34120 IssF.pdf

I picked up a set of 18" tundra TRD's. I want BFG KO2's. What size should I get for the LX? I'm hearing some conflicting answers so I'd appreciate your insight. PS, once I mount them I'll post pics!

What are the size specs for the 18" Tundra TRD wheels? For example, 18" x 8" x 60mm or something else? If I know the wheel width and the offset, I could make a better suggestion.

My initial thought would be either stock LT285/60R18 BFG KO2's which have an "S" speed rating, or if you want a little more height, then 275/65R18 BFG KO2's which have an "R" speed rating.

Edit to add:

If you want to stay as close to stock as possible, which you mentioned in a previous post, then it would be the LT285/60R18 BFG KO2's with a recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure of 46psi Front/Rear.

I'm looking at an LX as well and would like to put on the 18" TRD wheels, do they just bolt on without modifications? What size tires did you end up with? Any photos of the truck with wheels you can share?

Thanks

Love the setup. Get lots of compliments and is now a capable off road vehicle. There were no mods needed and even in low ahc setting it doesn't rub. In the high off road setting it looks amazing.

I put powder coated 18" Tundra rims on my LX with LT285/60R18 BFG KO2's and have no issues what so ever. My external harddrive failed with all of my truck photos so I'll need to get back out in the boonies and get some more.
