Hey guys. I got me a little project going on in the pig forum, have a feeling maybe yous guys could lend me some 411. I am needing a rear window for my FJ55 cabin chassis, and I'd like to know what the dimensions of you guys' one piece rear window is. Also any pictures of this type of window would be nice, if you have a notion... Thanks!

It's a flat piece of glass. It would be cheaper, far easier to source, and less of a drain on already limited 45 parts if you just went and had one cut at a glass shop.

Alright, you shamed me into doing it.

44 1/2" X 12 1/2" with about 1 1/2" radius at the corners.

That's off a 1978.

But... ditto on the stay away from our rare parts. :D

yeah yeah yeah:p persnickitty geezers. but I can find a weatherstrip for it.....and I knew it was flat and hard to come by, but also needed dimensions to get going. so what if it ends up being lexan for now, but I can get the seal and finish the dam hole! Now, any of you guys wanna speculate as to the dimensions of the cut out? I PROMISE not to use such a precious resource:rolleyes: Thank you guys for playing. sorry if I came off like too much of a jerk- it's a pig thing

I didn't actually measure the glass. The glass is in place.

I measured from the middle of the gasket. Well, slightly inside from the middle. I would add 3/16" on all four sides to get the opening size.

Flat glass is cheap. Take the advice from the green man. You could even go for tinted.

I thought that tempered glass had to be cast. Who did your glass work, Gumby? Still it would be nice to order a toyota type parts for the seal....
