Picacho SRA - Feb 22nd-25th

Well since its supposed to rain around here and up near El Cap this weekend, we have to change plans. Looks like we'll head out to Picacho SRA on the Colorado river. We'll leave Friday mid-morning and drive as fast as we can away from the rain. We'll come back mid-morning Monday.

Picacho SRA

Picacho is located near Winterhaven CA near the Mexican border. Yosh and I have never been and had plans to head here a few months ago, but it never panned out. The weather is supposed to be nice (75-77degrees). We'll try and get a campsite on the river. We are bring a kayak too. There's mountain bike and hiking trails nearby also.

So, once again ... If anyone wants to join us, feel free.

That's a cool area. Some interesting mining history. You will also like cruising in the tule reeds with the kayak.

Just watch out for the raccons in the campgrounds. Them bastids are smart
