Pic.posting problems!!

Just wondering why "Sum of all attachments owned by jsuthey" 922.3KB<there is this long bar(green)with some red in there showing about a 3rd.of the bar taken up.All that before I even try to load a pic.,Also saying upload errors 037.jbg upload of file failed. keeps comming up when I try and post a pic.I have posted only a few pics.before and did not have this problem.I will check the size I am taking on the camera.I will also look into the resizing.

any file with a .html extension isn't a image file...must be .jpg or .gif
