I'm wanting to mount a RAM mount ball system on my 99 Land Cruiser to hold a 10-in tablet.

How do you guys have these mounted to wear they don't wiggle and move as you drive.

Universal floor mount works with slight modifications OR BenCC design to the dashboard but it vibrates on rougher roads with a heavy tablet.

Floor mount is the most solid setup for off roading but takes up a bit more space

Solid as a rock, no shaking at all, even on rocky trails.

Post details on the adapter and parts used please
Ram Pod HD, Ram-316HD-202U (standard configuration), bottom mounting surface trimmed to remove un-needed portions.

Custom formed bracket to mount the above to the front seat track bolt (using longer bolt). Made from 1/4 ×2 HR, formed to be parallel with the floor, upper rear surface bevel ground to allow seat track to clear when moved forward.
Note, bolt also has to be beveled for seat track clearance.

Ram Mount Tab Lock tablet mount (to fit your tablet with protective case if you have one installed),

Security Knob Set, RAP-S-KNOB-316HD,

Caution Note, with this setup forward seat travel is reduced somewhat by the vertical section of the lower mount and care must be taken when moving the seat forward as you CAN crash the seat cusion into the mount. Make sure any passengers you have on board are aware of this.

I ordered the dash Mount and the one for the center console but I have to ask what's with the microfiber towels around the shifters?
Lol, oh...thats my custom shifter cover...helps keep stuff, primarily doobie ashes from falling ...I just ended up ordering the escape gear cover for a bit more class but hard to beat the price of a microfiber
