Hi - I am wanting to remove my port-installed predator steps but am unsure what occupies the factory weldnuts they bolt to (as in bolts or plugs/clips/grommets).

If your LC250 doesn't have rock rails, running boards, or Pred steps can you share with me some photos of what is in the weld nuts in the rocker panel? Thanks!

Should be similar to previous generation. Just keep the bolts.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean that J250's without predator steps have m8 bolts in those weld nuts from the factory? (instead of clips like other Toyota models?)

If you take and post a photo of the general spot you are talking about, I'll take a matching photo on mine without the steps (if someone doesn't beat me to it).

Thank you. Here is a photo looking towards the drivers side rear tire:

Looks like there are just bolts in those spots. Little out of focus, but you get the idea.

Mine has a lot of empty holes, really kind of a crappy deal. There are a lot of holes crevices and spots for road dirt and salt to get into. Pretty s***ty design. The 200 didn’t have any of these failures.
